Not all safety nets are equal. Here's what to check before buying.

Material

Choose high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or nylon. Avoid cheap PP nets that degrade in sunlight within a year.

Thickness

1.5mm to 2mm braided cord is ideal for child safety. Bird nets can be lighter at 0.8–1mm.

UV Treatment

Chennai sun is brutal. Always insist on UV-stabilized nets for 5+ year life.
